Upgrade or replace your factory block heater with this Cummins 3975628 Engine Block Heater, designed for 1998.5–2026 Dodge Ram trucks equipped with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel.
This heater threads directly into the engine block and provides reliable engine pre-heating for easier cold starts, reduced wear, improved oil flow, and smoother operation during freezing temperatures. It is a direct replacement Cummins OE heater element, not a universal aftermarket substitute.
Located on the passenger side of the engine—approximately two inches behind the oil filter—this heater is easy to inspect and replace when servicing the engine.
Important Fitment Note: Some early 1994–1998 model years used differing heater element styles. Before ordering, double-check which heater your truck currently uses. If your vehicle requires Cummins part 3916127, this heater will not fit.
