This is the updated OEM fastener kit required when servicing or replacing the Gen 3 valve body. GM revised bolt locations and bolt lengths compared to earlier valve body designs, making this kit necessary when the valve body is removed for repair.
This kit replaces GM part number 24050764.

What Changed on the Updated Valve Body
GM’s updated valve body design includes internal revisions for improved durability and debris tolerance, along with a simplified layout:
– Internal updates for better sediment mitigation
– Auxiliary valve body eliminated
– Default solenoid moved to the thick plate
– Mode valve and PCS moved to the solenoid body
– TCC solenoid relocated to the case-side valve body half
– Simplified internal flow passages and harness layout
– Solenoid cover deleted
Because of these updates, the bolt pattern and bolt lengths differ from earlier designs, and this bolt kit is required.
